the gentle art of saying 'no'
Saying 'no' needs to be the cornerstone of my emancipation.
I am not sure where I started saying 'yes' or why. But it is now a habit. A bad one.
I say yes when I have no time, I say yes for things I don't really want to do and I says yes to people I don't really want to work with.
So I get myself into a bind - I end up doing too many things at once because of my inability to say no. Which is where I am at the moment. But I am excited that last week I said no!
It was only a little thing, but I said no because I just didn't have time for it.
Usually I would have said yes and squashed it into my schedule.
Is anyone else like this? Who says yes more than no?
